Join Kevin and Landen on this episode of hunting stories. Kevin share's an intense British Columbia mountain hunt that turned into an unforgettable adventure. What began as a remote goat hunt in the Kootenays quickly escalated: hurricane-force winds shredded a tent off the mountain, a massive Billy goat tumbled and lost a horn, and a surprise encounter with a grizzly bear guarding an elk carcass left a lasting mental image. Despite wild weather, sketchy terrain, and close calls in grizzly country, the trip wrapped with two mountain goats, a six-point bull elk on the wall, and hard-earned lessons about camp setup, meat storage, and staying loud and safe in bear country.
